Viides erä Mario & Sonic-sarja, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games on urheilupeli Nintendo 3DS:lle ja Wii U:lle.

Kansainvälinen olympiakomitea lisensoi Mario & Sonicin vuoden 2012 kesäolympialaisten viralliseksi videopeliksi yksinoikeudella International Sports Multimedian kautta. Peli on ainoa Wii-peli, joka tulee keltaisessa säilytyskotelossa tavallisen valkoisen kotelon sijaan.

I’ve changed the held items of Pokémon to reflect the best possible outcomes in the various games from Gen III up to Gen VIII. So long as it doesn’t conflict with other interests, I’ve chosen the best items and highest chances of each one for each Pokémon. Notes are below:
⦁ Many Pokémon that have their held items changed can’t be found in the wild. They’ve been changed strictly for completion’s sake.
⦁ Pokémon that only appear as wild encounters at the Battle Pyramid will be given the best available item(s) for battle purposes.
⦁ Items that don’t exist in Gen III will not be created, so as to not break anything with the official games.
⦁ Colored shards, normally held by wild Pokemon of a specific species, are used to trade for evolution stones. They’ll now be obtained via Rock Smash.
⦁ Executive decision: Zigzagoon and Linoone will still hold their respective Berries. It adds some extra challenge to the game that later titles lack.
⦁ Executive decision: Gulpin will hold Oran and Sitrus Berries. Big Pearls are more valuable, but this lets Clamperl hold both types of Pearls (instead of a Blue Shard).
Surskit

Lotad and Seedot at 10% each on Route 102
Seedot at 20% on Route 117 during the day (see Volbeat/Illumise for more)
Nuzleaf swaps with Lombre at night on Route 114; Zangoose/Seviper gets the 1%
Remove from Route 120
Volbeat/Illumise
Both at 10% each on Route 117 at night
Solrock/Lunatone

Restore R/S trades. Move, edit Emerald trades to Battle Frontier Lounge 6 with Isis.
Trainer names adjusted to better suit gender.
All Pokemon info is identical to R/S besides Trainer names.
Pikachu swapped out for Spinda in Skitty trade to be viable when you first get to Fortree.
Mail shuffled around to better fit recipient Pokemon.
In-game trader in Fortree City.
The GBA kid here in the vanilla game mentions that some Pokemon evolve via trade.
He will now trade Pokemon with you to see if one of them will evolve.
The selected Pokemon will be traded with itself. Standard trade procedures follow.
The self-trade’s in-game explanation? The trade was glitched due to a faulty connection.

FOSSIL POKEMON In Cerulean Cave, however, you can get fossils from smashing rocks! Much like Gen IV and Gen VI, this one location in the game will give you them from a different item pool. You will have a 25% chance at getting one of the following items: Helix Fossil (Hard Stone if you already have a Helix Fossil) Dome Fossil (Soft Sand if you already have a Dome Fossil) Old Amber (Star Piece if you already have an Old Amber) Max Ether Max Revive Note that if you haven’t received the Old Amber from the scientists at the Pewter Museum yet, you will not be able to receive any Old Amber items from smashing rocks. Now, you’ll be able to get all three through roaming. To trigger the next roaming beast, finish with the current beast by either catching or defeating it, then DEFEAT THE ELITE FOUR AND POKÉMON CHAMPION AGAIN. Each beast will spawn only once. The order will depend on your chosen starter: Bulbasaur: Entei -> Raikou -> Suicune Charmander: Suicune -> Entei -> Raikou Squirtle: Raikou -> Suicune -> Entei
Lugia and Ho-Oh These two legendary birds are at Navel Rock. To get the MysticTicket that takes you there, speak to the mysterious old woman on Seven Island.
Celebi Celebi can be found in a new bush placed in BERRY FOREST. It won’t appear there until after you save Lostelle, as Celebi only show up in areas of peace. You will need at least one open space in your party; it won’t transfer to your PC storage system. This Celebi is holding a Lansat Berry.
